Caleb Jonathan

Software developer in Kampala, Uganda. I work at a consultancy, where most of my time goes to developer tooling and the infrastructure underneath it.

Outside of that I build mobile and web apps — Flutter and React Native on the front, TypeScript and Python behind them. Some of it ends up in the Play Store, some of it stays a way to understand how a thing works.

You can find my code on GitHub, or reach me at jonathancaleb230@gmail.com.

Selected work

  • Kotlin

An Android app that turns MTN MoMo and Airtel Money SMS confirmations into a searchable, exportable ledger. Neither provider offers an API for personal transaction data, so it builds the history from the messages that arrive anyway. No account, no analytics, no internet permission — everything stays on the phone.

  • A Go reverse proxy that adds W3C trace context to any HTTP service without touching its code.

  • Flutter

A personal life tracker: budgets, tasks, plans, projects, habits, movies, songs, weight — anything worth keeping tabs on, in one place.
